What is meaning of home? The meaning of home is a place that is filled with the love of your family. The best thing about home is eating lunch or dinner with your family and having a lot of fun talking. Home is a comfortable place to live with your family. Home is a place where you have fun with all your family members. Home is also a place that has a lot of background memories. Home has everything that you need to survive: your family that supports you through everything in your life. Home is a place where everyone supports you in your life. For example, when you are sad about something that happened at school, like you got into trouble for doing something wrong and you feel sad about it, that's when your family comes in and supports you. A house is a building where you live, but a home is on a different level than a house. Home has a lot more meaning than a house does. Home can be a fun place where everyone can visit your home, like your friends come over to your house or your family members from other places in Canada, or from other countries, to visit your home and have a lot of fun in your home. For example for a house it is a structure that has walls, windows, it has furniture and that is where you live and belong. Home is a place where you have your family, also where you get emotional, where you have personal stuff to do, and where you feel like you are with your family and have people that can support you when you need to be supported. Also where you feel like you belong here. That is where you have your love of your family in your heart. Lots of people think that home and house have the same meaning but they don’t know that the house and the home have very different meanings to them. If you see the example that I gave you then you know what is a home and a house and what is the difference between them. When I first came to Canada I thought that house and home are the same. When I did this project I learned that home and a house have different meanings to them.
