Home is Where I Belong

Home is a place that holds memories. It’s where you grew up, had your ups and had your downs. Home can mean different things to certain people; maybe school is a home, maybe a friend’s house, maybe a library or a store. A home is a place where you can show emotions or be anything you want to be. Home is where I have my pets, like my dog Bambi and my cat Sparrow. Home is where I make my brownies, my mom makes cookies, while my dad makes bread. Home is where I see family and food. Home is where I hear laughter and my pets. Home is where I feel cared about and unstoppable. Home is where I taste baking from my mom and cooking from my dad. Home is where I smell candles and my weird brother. What makes home special to you? It could be your pets, family, maybe the outdoors or maybe a hobby. Sometimes my family plays games, like Jenga, board games, or Go Fish! A home is not a house, a house is a structure, maybe some walls or furniture or a roof. But home is where you see stuff like your annoying little brother or where you feel safe. Home is where you will live forever while eating cookies, watching movies and playing games. My favourite thing to do at home is draw and bake. My brother likes playing with cars and trucks. My mom likes to bake and play games with us, while my dad likes to build and work on cars and radios. My home is my safe place and where I feel calm. A house is four walls and a roof while a home is memories held close to you. I love my home.
