My Cozy Little Home

My cozy little bed, Where I close my eyes and rest my head. When I have a scary nightmare, My dad hugs me, and I know he’s always there. My cozy little room, Were my sister and I make a rainbow loom. I taught her not that long ago, She loves it! That I know. It’s a place I go when I need a break, I look out my window and see a snowflake. My cozy little home, Where my grandma has a special Mickey gnome. She displays it in her basement, Everyone loves it! Nobody wants a replacement. At home, we always grow, As my sister puts on a little dancing show. My grandpa makes mashed potatoes just for me, He knows that I love them and nobody will disagree. My cozy little neighborhood, Where my neighbors and I went to save our parkette, and It’s all good. It’s a place where I can be me, And everyone feels very free. My cozy little city, You may think Thunder Bay is so itty-bitty. But it holds so many cultures that I can always see, One day when I was young my Yaiyai and I were like bees. We were making a Greek cake, Because we love to bake. When it’s done it looks like a donut, I named it the big donut, When we say it, we laugh and smile, We’ve done it for a while. My cozy little country, Where we don’t need to be too fancy. Canada is a place where you can be who you are, So, people come from so very far. I hope and wish everyone will feel free, Just like me.
