Home is a Happy Place

My home is my happy place. I love my home, it has love and is a place where I feel safe. I have friends, family, and food that I'm grateful for but most of all I'm grateful for my happy place. My home is my happy place, it brings me joy and people who I love. My brother, dad, and I watch hockey games while my sister and mom deep clean the house. One of the people that I love is my rabbit. I love cuddling with my rabbit, I give her treats and play with her. I love spending time with my siblings playing board games, my favourite board game is Life. I play Life with my friends, cousins, and siblings the most. Usually on Fridays or days that I'm tired, my family and I watch movies in the master bedroom with buttery popcorn in our hands. Everyday I spend time in my room by myself relaxing. I call that “me time.” I either read, sleep, clean, write in my journal or go on my phone. Me and my family love doing puzzles together, especially the big ones. We're working on one right now, we call it the big Christmas cookie puzzle because it has a bunch of Christmas cookie pieces on it. My home is my happy place, I hope yours is too.
