What a Home Means to Me

What a home means to me is that it has lots of memories. Home means it has more than 4 walls and that makes me feel more safe and a secure home. Home means there's a lot of pictures on the wall to look at. I grew up in a loving, safe home. We always support, and respect each other even when you have a bad time. Each room is a special place. Home means there is always family time together. Home means a warm and cozy place to live in. My home is like a cozy hug that wraps around me. Home is my place to live in. A home is a structure where people can live with their family. Not all homes are positive. Some homes are negative. Some homes can be abusive and not a good role model for the children. I’m lucky to have a home that isn’t abusive or negative. My home is always fun and exciting. My home has loving parents that help me do my homework or help me with problems. Home is a place where you can sleep, eat, and play. My home would smell like fresh vegetables. Once I come back from school. My home is full of talking and laughter. My home makes me feel protected from the bad weather. My home is like a shield that protects me from the cold. Home is where you can relax. My home is not about the furniture or how good it looks, it’s about the people inside. Home is a place where you can be yourself. Home is a feeling of safety, love, and belonging.
