Meaning of home…

If you're reading this you probably have a roof on top of you, food in your fridge and a warm bed to sleep in. So what is a home? Is it just the place you live or is it the place where you can feel loved and safe. To me home is not just a building it is the place I can recharge and stay safe. When I am having a bad day home is where I can be encouraged and helped. My bedroom is the place where all of my emotions hide. The books I always read, the games I play with my brother, all of my memories are in my bedroom. The dining room and kitchen is always filled with the smell of my moms cooking. Eating her food I can feel a scene of calm and peace running through my body , my brian is telling me to relax and calm down. In the living room the books and the exercising carpet. It all resets everything and calms me down a lot. The fact that home is not just a building means a lot to me. First of all, not everyone has a home. We should not take our home for granted and we should always be grateful.
