My Family is My Home

My family is my home. They always help me no matter what. They will support me and protect me even when I get bad grades; they say to keep trying. Whenever I am sad, my mom will give me a tight hug so I can feel happy again. When my mom cooks her pasta, I smell a cheesy aroma pasta, and feel great. My dad takes me to his store whenever I want, he says, “you can get anything you want”. I always get a big bag of chips so that I can share with my sister. I feel so happy when my dad does this. At night, my family and I always have a movie night where we eat popcorn and a lot of candy. My favorite candy is Sour Patch Kids. I love my big bedroom, which is purple and pink, my favorite colours. I love sleeping in it. Whenever I get scared of ghosts at night, I run downstairs to see my grandma. I always get calm when I see her as she always hugs me when I am sleepy. My family and I celebrate Eid and Ramadan. We decorate for every celebration. I am happy when I get dressed and wear my dress and when I fast, I am always so excited for Iftar where I get to break my fast. Home to me is knowing no matter what happens, at the end, we are happy.
