Home

Home is a place where you are always safe. Whether you're laughing, crying, or just being yourself, you will not be judged at home. However, not everyone has a home. Sure, you might have a house and a family, but home means feelings, family, memories, home cooked meals, movies, and more. When you come home from school, what do you see? You're little siblings running around, toys everywhere or do you see quiet? Some people come home to a loud house filled with laughter and joy, others go home to a quiet house filled with silence and sadness. However both people usually want the other one. For me, home has two meanings. One is the house with my mom in Windsor, the place where I grew up, the place where I've fallen over laughing because My dog was doing something weird. The second meaning is my dads house in Wawa, where we go fishing, eat oreos that were meant for fishing, go on four wheelers, and look at the lake. However, no matter which house I'm in, the newer one, or the one I grew up in, they're both home for me. When most people think of home, they think of a house, brick walls, a yard, even a big driveway. Home has a deeper meaning. I am so grateful for my home no matter who lives in it. It is awful that some people do not get to experience that love, joy and peace. In conclusion, I just want to say that whenever you feel like your home is not enough, remember that some people do not get the luxury of a home, memories, or a family that they can always rely on.
