The meaning of home

By: Elise Vang The meaning of home to me is a space to express myself. My favourite place is my room. It's my place where I can relax. My room has everything that makes me comfortable. My room is the space that I go to when I'm overwhelmed or scared. My room is where I keep all of my memories. With my family we laugh and keep each other warm. My home is like a part of my family. It's a comfortable place that I feel welcome. In the house my family and I do things together. We watch shows and play games. In the kitchen there's lots of noise. Those noises turn into delicious meals that we eat everyday. We bake treats together. At the dining table we share stories while we eat our meals. We have to clean up the kitchen and make it fresh and clean. In the end our home is there. A home is not just where you live, it's where you have shelter and warmth. I love my home and everyone deserves a home too.
