What is home?

Home… Home is something I never really thought about. Where is my home? Where do I feel most comfortable? I used to think my home was in Nigeria. Where I knew everyone. Where I feel Loved. Home is when I wake up and smell the delicious aroma from the kitchen. Home is when I have sleepovers with my cousins. Home is when there are family vacations every year. Why did I have to move? Why couldn't I just stay and have fun? Home is not just a building with bricks and roofs. Home is where memories are made. Where love is shared.I used to think home is just a place that keeps you warm that shelters you but itś much more than that its YOUR comfort zone. Itś not just a house, it's a place where every picture on the wall marks every amazing memory, every vacation, every smile and laughter, and every birthday surprise. Home reminds you of everything, every happy, sad, scared feeling that happens. Home is like a soft blanket ready to wrap and protect you on a cold windy night. A home and a house have completely different definitions. A home gives you comfort, joy, memories, laughter and so much more. A house just gives you shelter. Thank you habitat for humanity for helping people define the meaning of home for humankind This broadened my horizon to know and differentiate the difference between a home and a house.
