Home

Home isn't just shelter or four walls and a roof, it's much more. It is where forgiving eyes are everywhere and I’m crowded with love. Where my smile broadens when my friend calls who moved away. My house is somewhere where I have hope and joy. Where I can lie on my bed and have my thoughts flow through my head, where I can read a book in peace. In my backyard I can make snowmen rolling and rolling, most of the time before I'm done, mostly there's yellow spots on it. Home is somewhere where my moms buttery muffins melt in my mouth with the blueberry overpowering the taste. Where I can go home and talk about my day with all positive words. When I jump out of the car and feel the breeze through my hair as I run to the door when I open the door I smell my moms tasty food that she makes. When I sit at the table I feel I’m loved every second of my life. When I get ready for bed I hug my dogs good night. When I hug my big dog I feel so cozy. l feel like I’m wrapped in a pillow case. If an asteroid is coming to earth there is one place I would like to be HOME!!! Not because it's a place to hide from my secrets, it's a place where I feel loved, happy, and joyful. This is my home and this is where I live, and where I will live because this is my home.
