What Home Means to Me and You The Meaning of Home. When you think of a house, what do you think of? When I think of a house, I think of a house made of brick. I’m looking at it. Just staring. What about when you think of a home? When I think of a home, I think of a SAFE and COZY place. I feel HAPPY and CALM when I’m in my home, but others don’t always have this feeling. Some people don’t have a SAFE place to live and we are trying to help them get a SAFE home, to feel HAPPY and CALM with no trouble at all. Home for me and you should be a SAFE place, where we can share our feelings with our family and friends. The people who don’t have a home don’t have the comfort of a bed, a soft couch or a table to eat dinner at. We should all have a PEACEFUL and SAFE place!
