The Meaning of Home

To me home means anywhere where family is, a place that comforts you, loves you and respects you. There are many meanings of home but to me it's a place in my heart, where you make memories and laugh. At home I can be myself, be crazy and be loved. I am respected for who I am and even if I’m different I’m still loved. The air is filled with joy, hope, support, love and in my house sometimes chaos. Home doesn't only mean walls and a roof it means family, it protects you from storms, rain and snow. Everybody should feel safe, protected and loved. When I walk into my house, I see special people looking at me with smiles on their faces, it makes me feel special. I think that Habitat for Humanity is a genius idea. It’s a place where people build homes for people without homes. It is really important to people that need homes. I can’t even think of what it would be like if I didn't have a house. To me family is home. Everybody deserves a cozy safe place to be with their family.
