My Home

My Home Home is where I feel protected. In my home I feel loved, cared, and appreciated. When I am at home, I feel so happy, it is where I let out my special emotions. In the kitchen I smell delicious chicken masala. It is where we eat our delicious meals having joy and happiness in our hearts. Home is where I feel accompanied, heard, and noticed. In the living room chilling around, telling jokes, and laughing aloud. On Fridays after school, we cuddle up on our couch watching our favorite movie with sweet, sweet treats. When the sun is setting, I look through the window at the beautiful things that appear outside my home. In the night I hear the wind rustling through the trees, which means I’m never alone. Home is the best place ever it is even better than a resort. People all around the world do not have homes so we make sure that we’re thankful that we have one. Thank you, Habit for Humanity, for giving the homeless a home and making the world a better place.
