✧ What Home Means to Me✧

To me home means love and warmth and family. Home is where you let your guard down because you know you are in your safe place and where you feel welcomed. There are hugs that make you feel warm. Home is also where l get the support l need and the wisdom that my family gives me. Home is where we can build memories of all of us having fun together to keep forever in our hearts. Home is a wonderful place where the people you love are there to welcome you, like your grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, brother or sister. When you're in your home you can have a healthy lifespan with great parents to guide your way through life. You always have time to spend family time, my family always has family time in the living room, we talk and sometimes we have movie nights. My family's favourite movie is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. In my home l can smell my dad cooking spaghetti and tacos. The sound of the cuckoo bird reminds me that I'm in the place l love. Some families stay home and watch TV and not spend time together, but my family goes on road trips all the time. We love to go and visit my cousin in Miami. When l don't feel good or if things don’t go the way l want them to go l always have parents to calm me down and comfort me. Sometimes my mom and dad fight because they're either tired or had a hard day at work.
