Home Sweet Home

The meaning of home is a special thing Where you're comfortable and casual Safe and secret. Where you can have snow ball fights and mix potions, or invite your friends over to play. Home is magical, and here’s what it means to me. My home At my house we have three cats and at least a million paged history book about them! We have a bookshelf in basically every room and one of my favorite parts, lots of wooden furniture! There's a certain smell to my house too. It smells like the wood that we burn in our fireplace and our cats, or the food that we're in the middle of cooking. But it's also the special smell that only it has; the smell of your home! Enough about smells though there's also what's in a house. There's your room, the kitchen, a bathroom, a living room. Maybe a tv room, or playroom. There's the food that you eat, the games that you play, the books that you read. I think that that's what part of home means. Family and friends At your home there's not just objects but people and maybe animals. There's your family and friends, there are parents and their pets, or your pets. Maybe it's a special event, like a holiday or a birthday, an anniversary or a wedding. Perhaps it's just a celebration! Everybody’s having fun. There’s a cat in a box or a dog on the couch. Friends are telling stories and parents are chatting. Friendship with humans and animals is another part of home. Now there are millions of tiny little shards of what the meaning of home really is but I believe that the meaning of home can't actually be put into words. Because it's a bit too special.
