What Home Means to Me

A home has safety, and family and it is comfortable. This is what home means to me. In a home you need safety because if you don’t have safety in your home, you do not feel safe. Imagine you're walking home from school, and you are too scared to walk into your home. That means your home is not safe and you are not safe in your home. In your home you need your family. Your family is always there for you no matter what happens. They are there for you when you get good grades, or when you finish a project, you worked hard on. They will always be there for you and be happy for you. In your home you also need to be comfortable. By comfortable I mean a comfy bed to sleep on and a comfy couch to lay on. Imagine you are coming home from a friend's house, and you just need to relax, you need a comfortable spot to lay down in. A comfortable place may be the couch or your bed. This is what comfort is. And this is why safety, family and a comfortable home is important and that is what home means to me! ALL ABOUT THE AUTHOR! Aj Vanderkaay is 10 years old and lives with her parents in Canada.
