My Sweet Home
My home is where I live,
Within those four brick walls,
My home is where my family is,
And where I first crawled.
My home is where I hear my grandma's wise words,
And where I hear my cousins fight,
Where I get warm embraces,
And where I burn oil lights.
My temple is a place where we pray,
And where we get loads of blessings,
Where I learn how to make salad,
With unique dressings.
My kitchen is where I see fumes in the air,
And where I remember wonderful smells,
It reminds me of the baking I used to do,
And the ringing of loud bells.
Ding! Ding! Dinner is ready.
My living room is where I watch TV,
And where I hear laughter and weeps,
Where I play with my family and friends,
And where I get the creeps from horror movies.
My bedroom is where I sleep,
In my comfy, soft bed,
Where I stick photos and memories,
Not on the wall, in my head.
My front and backyard is where I shovel,
When it's cold in the winter,
Where I make cute snowmen,
Right here in Windsor.
My home is where I live,
Within those four brick walls,
My home is where my family is,
And where I first crawled.
