Home

Home When you take the first step into the entrance, you will hear the soft, slow music of the piano coming from the living room. Though my entrance is small, anything can be big in any sort of way. After you take a step in the entrance, you will walk into the living room. When you are in there, you will hear the adults chattering while having coffee. The kitchen will bring the fresh, delicious smell of warm croissants in the oven. At Christmas in the kitchen, you will smell cinnamon sticks and oranges with cranberries. When you go into the rec room downstairs it will be messy, but I will always feel at home in the rec room. As you open the game closet, games of all sorts will overflow it. My bedroom may be the nicest room of all. The cozy, silky fabric of my blankets just soothes me to sleep, and with a light, satin, peony colored pink pillow, makes it just truly perfect. To me, my room feels exactly like the heart of the world. In the backyard, in the dusky night sky, we like to roast marshmallows and play no bears out tonight. When we’re all done, we like to gaze up at the stars with a telescope and watch the craters in the moon. Everyone should have a home like this!
