Meaning of home

This is what home feels like to me. Home looks and feels like a calm space. It always has a nice flowy and free feeling in the room. Home is also a place you feel most welcome. Whether that’s a pet or a person you should have the required items to make them feel relaxed and safe. A bed to feel cozy and soft. A kitchen to cook all your warm and gooey pastries. And last but not least a living room to share so many happy and funny memories. Home is a place where you can be yourself. A place where all the emotions have been and gone. There is a unique difference between a house and a home. A house is a building with stable walls and shiny glass windows. A home is your own personal paradise. A place filled with memories. Home to me means a place where you are loved and respected. It also means to have freedom over your emotions. Meaning there will also be some difficult times here and there but there will always be someone to get you through it. Home is a place come together and eat cake and talks about all the amazing things we do as a family. One of my favorite celebrations that we host at our home is new years eve because we get to reflect on all our accomplishments, we made in are home. My home may not be the biggest building in the neighborhood, but it is all I need we love. Like when its my mom’s birthday and my where special events have been held to celebrate the people family to feel safe and happy. This is what home means and feels like to me. ​
