Meaning Of Home I am a grade 6 student, and this is what home means to me. Home is not just a place you go to; it’s a place you can be at ease. In this essay I am going to tell you what is needed in a nice livable home. A home must have love. Absence of love in a home results in lots of yelling and disrespect for one another. A loving family has parents that care for the children, provide anything needed by them and the children are respectful to the parents. A loving home gives support and kindness to all members. Love is a beautiful bond that holds the family together. Safety is an essential thing in a home. To have a safe home, you must be comfortable. In my opinion, when I’m not comfortable in a new space I’m not safe. A safe home is a place where all members of the household can feel protected, and this provides a sense of well-being. My family feels safe to me because we care about each other. This is why my home is safe for me to live in. A welcoming home is a place where you can feel comfortable, relaxed, and happy. My home is welcoming because my family members are kind to each other. A welcoming home gives me peace of mind. A welcoming home also has inviting space for when you have guests. These are the reasons that make a nice home to live in. This is what home means to me.
