Habitat for Humanity: Writing about Home

Habitat for Humanity, it is an organization of people who help people in need. They build houses for people who need them. Their work is important because they help people who don’t have a home. Habitat for humanity provides things like comfort and relaxation, freedom and they make a house for a family to share. I like my comfort and relaxation in my bedroom because I have a big squishy pillow and it makes me comfortable in bed and I can rest on it. Habitat for humanity they make sure that your comfort spot is safe and protective. My house makes me comfortable like the couch and my bed. My couch makes me comfortable because it's not wood or metal, it's somewhat soft fabric. My bed makes me comfortable because it's soft, warm and comfortable. Habitat for humanity makes comfortable places for people because it's not good to sleep under a tree, that's not comfortable. Another thing I love about my home is that I have some freedoms like I can clean, watch tv, go on my computer, go to a friend's house and destroy my basement while playing games and then clean it up again. Habitat for humanity makes sure that you can have freedom in your own house. You can have a shower whenever you want in your own house but if you don't have a house you aren't free to shower whenever you want or need. I can watch TV whenever I want and hang posters whenever and wherever I want. Freedom is important because you can’t watch TV whenever you want and you can’t hang up posters whenever you want and wherever you want. It's because it gives you a space to be you. Whichever you want you don't have to wait on anybody to change the channel for you or anything like that. Lastly, I love my home because my friends know where I am and my family can have a safe environment to hang out with me. Your own house is important to your friendships because it's warm and you can hang out and play board games there if you want to without worrying about the cold or other bad stuff. Having a home is important to me and my friendships because we have a safe space to have sleepovers and birthday parties. We can have a secret and safe space to play and learn, if we did not have that safe place then we wouldn't be comfortable to be ourselves and learn through play. In summary, having a home for you and your family is important to your safety and wellbeing. When you have a home you can have simple freedoms and a warm place to play with your friends where there is no worrying about the rain and snow. You know you have a warm place to sleep and hopefully food in the fridge. Having a place to call home means the world and everyone should have a safe home. All people deserve to have a place to call home so they can have their happy endings.
