Habitat for Humanity: Writing about Home

Hi My name is Leland Gale I live in Redcliff Alberta. I love my home but I don’t just love it because it keeps me warm and keeps me out of the rain. I love it because My house gives me lots of good memories like the memories of me watching shows with my parent’s or me and my dad fixing stuff in the garage. One of my favourite memories at home was when my cousin came over on Christmas and hung out, and had lots of fun, and we opened are gifts together, we watched movies, built lego, and overall just had a great time. Some of my other great memories are actually on my console, some with my cousin, some without, but those are still good memories. Other memories are on my Oculus. It's a type of vr, those memories are still so good though. My cousin is 15 and he is still like a best friend to me. Sometimes when i'm talking to someone all of the sudden a memory just gets triggered and i'm like do you remember when we went to the west Edmonton mall or whatever we did. Did you know that habitat for humanity is trying to give everyone in need of a house for cheap. I also love my house because it's so comfortable and nice. I love coming home after a long day of school and plopping down on the couch and just relaxing for a little. After that I do my chores and go downstairs.Once I'm in my room I sit on my chair and turn on my playstation. Then I will play my games like GTA 5 or other games. My room is my favorite place in my house. My second favorite place in my house is the kitchen. I love cooking meals when I'm not playing games. I want to be a chef when I grow up and open my own Italian restaurant. Then that place will be like a home to me. Maybe it will have an up stairs and when you go up stairs it's a home like this show i watch called bobs burgers. My 3rd favorite place in my house is the garage. I've had so many good times there it is awesome. My 4th favourite place is the living room or my room because it has a TV. I love watching TV. My favourite show right now is definitely Bob's burgers. My 5th favorite place is the backyard. I love it because it has a hot tub. It's fairly big and it's fun to run around in there with my dog. In the summer in my backyard we put up a pool and it's really cold but you get used to it after moving around in it for a while.My family likes decorating the whole house for holidays like Christmas, Halloween and sometimes easter. My favourite quote about home is: “A house is made of walls and beams, a home is built with love and dreams.”I'm not sure why I like it so much I guess it just sounds good in my opinion. Family and friends are very important to me and they always make me feel better about Myself.Some of my Friends are Carlos, Oaklee, Lucas, Jaybert, Kingston, Leo, Kaiden, Jax, and Hansell.Some of my family members are my sister Miah, my Dad Robbie, My mom Dawn, my other sister Sarah, and last but most definitely not last is my dog Bruce.We do have other dogs but there not mine.Ones name is Drogo the other is Apollo.I love Bruce a lot but he can be a dog because he’s only like 1 year old.He has so many nicknames, some of them are Brucers, Batman, Brucey, and Brucey boy.His full name is Bruce Wayne Gale.We also have a cat thats my sisters.His name is Elfrid.Me and my sister have batman themed animals.Elfrid is very annoying though, so can my dog be though.Bruce is still a very smart dog.Anyway enough about animals.My parents are the best part of my family because I do almost everything with them. My dad and my mom will make me happy forever. My favorite thing is my family.
