We All Have A Home

This is what I call home, and it might be what you call home too. I have two homes—one has two floors, and the other has one. One is white, and the other is light yellow. Your home might be red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, or even pink. Some people, like me, have two homes, while others live in an apartment. Homes are important because they are where memories are made. Homes have music. What kind of music do you like to listen to? Some families enjoy rap, country, pop, K-pop, jazz, blues, classical, heavy metal, or even romantic songs. Some people love certain singers like Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Benson Boone, Tate McRae, Eminem, and Gracie Abrams. I love listening to Taylor Swift in my home! Homes have cooking. What do you like to cook in your home? Some families cook food from their culture, like Thai food, Indian food, or Chinese food. Sometimes, people like to eat out at places like Tim Hortons, Swiss Chalet, or Boston Pizza. Homes are for having fun. What do you like to do in your home? In the winter, I like to call my friends, and in the summer, I enjoy biking with them. You might like to read, do homework, go shopping at the mall (which I love too!), or play sports. Homes have a unique smell. What does your home smell like? My home smells like Bath & Body Works candles, the food I eat and cook, and the perfume I use. Your home might smell the same, or if you’re a boy, you might use cologne instead. Thank you so so much Habitat for Humanity for making lives better and putting smiles on people’s faces.
