I'm From

I'm from pancakes and bacon for breakfast, juicy adobo for lunch, pasta and mango ice cream on saturdays. Popeyes on Fridays, and mami noodles brought from Seafood City. I’m from swimming and biking in the summer, with my friends. Helping my dad with the garden while eating some ice cream in the spring. I’m from going trick or treating with some friends and getting home with candy and joy. Christmas parties with fun games like the “line game” or “the marching game” and much more with laughing and winning while Christmas songs are playing! I’m from Volleyball with yelling and squeaking sounds in the gym. And the sound of the ball bouncing. I'm from getting home and showering while listening to Laufey and Beabadoobe on Spotify. And eating chicken tenders that my mom bought from her work at the end of my day, feeling good. I’m from all of these places and so much more that makes me feel at home.
