What Home Means To Me
Home means coming home from school every day and seeing my lizard waiting for me. Home also means having a family who loves you and cares for you. Home feels cozy and warm and nothing feels as warm as home. Home also feels safe and secure. Home smells like fresh baked cookies and cinnamon buns. My home sounds like laughter, silliness, joyfulness and happiness. Home is always nice to go to because when I am at home I feel loved, cozy, safe, and comfortable. Home looks like the best looking house on the street because through the front room window of my house I can see my lizard’s tank and the piano bench where I sit every day and practice piano. Also, on top of the garage is my bedroom window. Home is a nice place to be after a long day of school because I love going home to my lizard, smelling the smells of home, the feeling of being loved and cared for and going upstairs to my room and seeing all my stuffed animals on my bed. The thing I really love is on the way back from school and turning onto my street and seeing my house. I love getting home from school and walking into my house because I smell all the smells, see all the things I like and my very own bedroom. The thing I love about home is waking up on the weekend and seeing the sun peeking through the blinds on my window and knowing that it is time to get up. That is what home means to me.
