Home is more than a place It’s more than a building It’s a community, friends, and family It’s a place where your heart feels warm It can be outside or in Does not matter if it’s made out of Bricks or trees Everyone deserves to be happy It gets cold in winter So cuddle up tight I want to help the homeless with all my might A warm and cozy bed to sleep in Marvelous food to devour Family that loves me I’m so glad to be happy Shelter above my head Siblings and friends to hang out with A dog to train Nothing plain Doing my school at home Is super cool My mom as my teacher Huge yard to run And play Happy as can be Living in a free country Flying free Living in a beautiful neighborhood Amazing friends next door A part of a community That’s what home Means to me
