Home Sweet Home

Home is a place where I feel special and loved and cared for and where I can go whenever I need to. Home is a warm and cozy place where me and my family play card games like monopoly, game of life, mouse trap and whether I win or lose I alway have fun. Home is my mom, dad and my younger brother and sister. We like to play tag and play hide-and-seek before we go to bed to get all of our energy out. Home is where we bake fresh food and yummy treats for us to eat that smell very good and very delicious. Home is snuggling up to watch a movie and having to eat treats on the way. Home is heading to the soccer field in the morning or to the basketball court or to the softball pitch. Home is going on hikes in the muddy trails with my family or friends and going to beaches for picnics on hot summer days. Home is reading to my sister and brother before they go to bed and as they try to stay up later than they are supposed to. Home is celebrating Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s day, Halloween, Canada Day and celebrating me and my family’s birthdays. Home is going to the park on cold days to do something or to get out of the house while my mom is working or my dad is working. Home is where we drink hot cocoa on cold days or just driving around in my mom or dad’s car finding something to do. Home is a place where I feel happy and welcome. Home is where I play barbies with my sister to make her happy when my mom is working. Home is where we go up to my lake house and catch fish in a net while my sister and brother are getting really dirty in the puddles. Home is tubing late at night hoping not to fall off in the lake while my grandpa is trying to flip us off. Home is going to my dock with fishing rods and hoping for a big fish. Home is staying up late, waiting for the next day to come along. Home is reading in my warm, cozy bed while my mom and dad are putting my brother and sister down. Home is going on rain walks and getting really wet and splashing in the puddles. Home is a place where we pretend to do gymnastics on the beam (couch). Home is going on my trampoline and doing back flips nonstop. Home is where I can do this project with my community.
