Meaning of Home
After my family moved to Canada for a fresh start when I was one, we had no car, No home. And now we have a shop, cars and a home. As I walk into my home, I feel a grateful emotion. I have had good and bad times, but I have always been able to come to a warm loving home. As I go into my room, I feel an emotion that I cannot explain having a home to sleep and play in. I am grateful for the joyful family and the aroma of food that is baked in the kitchen. The kind family that cares about the kids. The fun traditions. The soft and cozy duvet cover. And being able to sleep comfortably. The warm bedrooms. I hear my parents hollar to me, “Dinner!” or feel my dog's soft fur. I am so grateful for the care people put into building my home. I am so grateful that I have a warm home, and I want other people to feel these feelings. That is why I think Habitat for Humanity Is doing a wonderful thing for other people that do not have a home.
