My home
Home is more than four walls and a roof. A home is a place with rooms full of love beyond compare. The living room is a place of laughter and joy, a place where family is truly divine. The kitchen is where food is prepared, a place where all worries just melt away. The bathroom has a mirror to reflect who you are, the sink is for washing your hands, and the bathtub is where you care. Clean is from the filth and the muddy mess. The basement is full of siblings laughing and playing. The attic is a place where memories soar, a place of remembered events and accomplishments we’ve had. There is a bedroom, a sanctuary, a place for a calm mind. I have two siblings who smile when they are as happy as can be. My brother is a good boy who makes me laugh in every way. My sister is a baby and makes me laugh throughout the day. Two parents: mom and dad. My mom feeds me and loves me. She calls me her sunshine. She forgives me even if I do wrong, telling me to try my hardest in everything I do. My dad makes me laugh and loves me as well. Since I can cry, he forgives me too. Two cats, fluffy and soft, comfort me when I am sad. I know that some people aren’t as fortunate as I am, walking on the streets with no warm shelter, water, or food. Poor people must feel so lost and cold. I hope that they find a home to laugh in. Thank you to those who try to help. Homes are something that’s forever precious.
