What is a Home?

A place you can be happy. A place you belong. A place you feel comfort. A place where you feel free to express yourself. The smell of the kitchen with delicious food baking inside the oven. A smell of tasty hot coco waiting for you to drink. A taste of delicious homemade cookies eaten by the fire. A taste of dinners shared at the table with family. A sight of the ones you love laughing and talking. A sight of the place you love. The sound of your parents saying ‘’ I love you’. A sound of music that plays for you to sing and dance to. A touch of a warm blanket to keep you warm. A touch of your pet's soft fur. That is what a home means to me, that is why I am so happy Habitat for Humanity raises money every year so more people can have a place to call their home.
