The Meaning of Home

Did you know that someone in this cold Canada winter is struggling because they don’t have a home? The three overall topics I’m going to talk about are What Makes a House a Home to me. What Makes my Home important to me and do i think everyone deserves not a house but a home. The big overall topic is What home means to me and how I can make a house into a home. Three important things that make a house a home to me. I think every home should have a loving family. That means supportive parents,loving parents,nice siblings if you have siblings,nice and supportive grandparents,aunts and uncles. Family that can be there for you when you need them most like when you have an audition and tryouts for a sport. Family pictures I think should be a part of a home. Family pictures might be important like baby pictures or family pictures of loved ones that have passed. These are important so we should want to keep them forever. Every home should have a living room. A living room should be where you make amazing memories. When you have family meetings or play board games with family. 3 things that are really special to me in my home. My loving family is so important to me in my home because they are there when I'm going through tough times,at hockey games and they always make me happy and make me laugh when I'm sad. My room is also pretty special because it has a bunch of pictures of me and my friends growing up together. It also has a bunch of posters of famous singers and a bunch of famous hockey players. The most important thing in my room is my family pictures, which are really important to me. My dogs are important to me because they always make me happy when I’m sad by licking my face and cuddling me. My dogs love to play hide and seek with me in the forest in my neighborhood and I love it. I think everyone deserves a home and not a house. A house is made of a bunch of bolts, screws and wooden planks. A home is made of lots of wonderful things. Everyone deserves a nice warm home to go back to after school or maybe work. A home to have family gatherings,to play with friends. Most importantly a cozy roof to sleep under and your own special room that's unique to you. Everyone should have a home even if they're not the best person because everyone makes mistakes and sometimes big mistakes. I hope this essay made you consider helping others in need of a home. I hope others consider doing a little contest like this not for the prizes but to donate the money that goes to help build homes for people that need them. Others can help make houses into homes for people that need them. Hopefully others decide to help make houses into homes. I hope others think that everyone deserves not a house but a home.
