Meaning Of Home

What my home means to me is the feeling of waking up with the birds chirping or the snow falling. Home is a place where memories are made. Where we have played, and a feeling that never fades, a place where we can sleep. The pranks we can pull, the music that plays and the water that flows and the trees that grow. The bad and good things we say, even if we don’t mean it. The food we eat and the things we drink. To me home feels like the pages of homework and sometimes it feels like the sheets of my bed and the hugs of my family. To me home sounds like the shows coming from the tv and the sound of my brother playing floor hockey. To me home looks like dark gray couch cushions. To me home smells like scented candles burning bright even in the darkest of nights. That’s what home means to me.
