The Meaning of Home

A house could have four walls, a window, it could have furniture, food and water, and still not feel like home. A house could be an apartment, it could be a cottage, it could be a trailer or even a park bench, you could have the coziest house in the world and it would still not feel like home. A home is where you feel comfort, love and care. You can feel all those feelings, whether you are with your friends or family, even with your pets. You could feel comfort, love and care if your at school, maybe on a sports team, or in a club I feel all those feelings when I'm having a movie marathon with my mom, or going to a baseball game with my dad, even when I go to the movies with my grandma and sister. I especially love when the whole family gets together and has Thanksgiving dinner. Thank you Habitat for humanity for helping me notice the real meaning of home. There is no reason for me to ever be sad because I know that someone will be getting a home, and that is a thing that really matters. Thank you.
