A home is a place for you to be you, Where you stay when you’re feeling blue There are people there who care when no one else does Not for money or fame, but just because It’s where joyous memories are made And delicious batches of cookies are baked Where we play with beloved pets And leave behind our past regrets But not everyone has the luxury of a home Day after day, outside they roam No one to love, no place to rest, In places treated like a pest For some, it seems like hope is lost And that the world is just too unjust However Habitat for Humanity isn’t such a worrier Making getting homes for people much easier Together we can make a difference, It’s not a mere coincidence Now with someone else’s home at stake, You need to choose, what difference will you make?
