Home to me is an important bond of trust and love

Home is a place that will always be crowded on family events, a place where you can smell the aroma of my Mom’s famous Rajma chawal and my Dad’s homemade sweets and pastries. It is a place full of loving memories and cherishing moments, from first steps to my sisters graduation party. Home is a place where you can just be yourself, you don't have to look good or act cool. It's a place where nobody wants to clean up after a parties or gatherings but still do. Home is where my sister and my mischievous laughs get us in trouble, a place where we re-watch old hindi movies again, and again, and again. It may be a place of disagreeing with my sister and getting upset but it is also a place where we say sorry and we care. It's a place where we make each other jealous that we got to skip school or got ice cream without them. Home is a place where we celebrate with amazing flavorful foods and sweets. Home is a place where we have Friday Movie Nights. It's a place where we all play card games and get a little competitive while playing card-over-card (patte ki uppar patta). But its not only about the happy times, its also about who helps you through the really tough and hard times, and to me that what family means. Lastly, home isn’t just four walls and a roof, but it is us four together, My Mom, My Dad, My Sister and Me.
