What Home Means to Me

Home isn’t just a place with walls and a roof, it’s where I sleep and grow. Home is where I learned to talk and walk. Home is where I can go and eat good meals and drink clean water . Home is the place where hopes and dreams are made. Home isn’t a place it’s a feeling. Home is where all the people I love are. Home is a place that when you go to sleep you know it will be there when you wake up. Home shelters me from the rain and snow, home holds all my clothes and everything I own. Home is where memories are made and I feel like I’m not being retained. Home is where there is love, laughter and happiness. To have a home you don’t need a big screen Tv, two couches, your own room, your own bed. Home should be where the ones you love are. Home is the place you can feel comfortable and be the person your not comfortable being in public and feel safe and know that know one is judging you. When you are home you can get into an argument and be laughing about the argument a couple minutes later. Home is just a word but it’s forever even if you get the chance to move or leave it’s a part of you. Home is with you everywhere you go. Home is where you can goof around be crazy and be yourself. That’s why it’s important for everyone to have a home. Habitat for Humanity do there part by helping everyone. Habitat for Humanity is building homes for people who are going through hard times which makes a huge difference. It’s important that you do as much as you can when you see someone in need . Home can mean something different to everyone. Home is where the heart is.
