Meaning of Home

When I think of home I think of my family laughing like a pack of monkeys over something silly. I think about my mom kissing my cheek before we go to bed. Home is my safe place, home reminds me of joy and laughter and the smell of home just makes me feel safe. About 235 000 people in Canada don’t have a home to feel safe in, I am grateful I have a beautiful home to sleep in. My home isn't a building or a house, home is where memories are made. It’s where the aroma fills the air, my home beams within the walls when I walk into it I feel beams of joy. I don't feel tense or timid in my place of refuge. I feel like I'm in a safe haven, home could have different meanings for everyone, home could be someone's place to be tranquil. What is home like for you ? When I think of home, lively amusing memories flood my mind, the aroma of my favorite food fills the air. the sight of my mom tucking me to bed, home is my safe place, home is where I grew up and where I spent my life.
