Meaning of Home

When you go to bed every night you probably don’t think about how lucky you are to have a roof over your head or even a bed to sleep in. I love my home because it means I have shelter to live in. I also love my home because my family lives there. Around meal time the smell of food fills the air in my home. Having a home means you have a place to live and feel safe. It’s incredibly important to have a home so that you can stay warm in winter when it’s minus forty-five. When it’s snowing your home will keep you warm and toasty in the frigid weather. In the summer your home will keep you nice and cool so you don’t get heat stroke. When there’s a downpour your home keeps you safe and dry. Aren you happy to have a home? It feels so nice to have a family to live with. My mom and dad are super awesome and very kind to me and my two sisters. Sometimes it feels like my parents give me and my sisters infinite second chances. My sisters are hilarious and they laugh a lot. I really like having a home because almost everywhere I go in my home I see my family either playing, talking, or laughing like hyenas! Ahh, the smell of freshly baked food flowing through the air. In your home you probably smell delicious food being cooked around meal time. My mom and dad make really delicious tasting food. When I smell whatever they're making for our meal I get really hungry and excited to eat. My parents make incredibly good food. I really like the smell of my dad’s hash, smoked meat, homemade burgers, and homemade pasta. I also really like the smell of my mom's fried rice, soup, muffins, chicken wings, and more. All the food smells so good! Having a home and a family in your home with you is a very nice feeling. Parents who make incredible food and siblings who enjoy playing with you.
