The Meaning of Home

A home is different from a house. Some people think they are the same thing but I'll prove them wrong. A home is not just a place with walls, a roof and a floor. It is somewhere where you feel safe and protected. A home is full of memories. A home is special and all homes are unique. You can buy a house but can’t buy a home. Because all the special things and the memories can’t be bought. A home is where you feel safe and loved. A house can be filled with different emotions, bad and good. You feel the joy when you enter your home. You feel the pain when you move out of your home to a house. That will soon be your home again. A house can be filled with people you don’t feel comfortable or safe around A home is a place where you trust everyone in there When you say “It's my home“, think about it. Is it really your home where you feel safe and loved? Where you feel comfortable and you trust the people around you? A home is a comfortable place you love. Everyone's home has their own memories and only the people who live in that home know it. Everyone deserves a home. They deserve love, they deserve to feel comfortable. They deserve to have a second chance. There is no place like home.
