What Home Really Means To Me

The feelings I feel in my home.When I go into my basement I feel me and my dad running while the dog is chasing us,or scaring my brother while he is watching a scary movie.I feel me and my friends putting a blanket on the stairs and sliding screaming then getting a rug burn. When my mom comes to wake me up and she lays in my bed and there just enough space for the both of us.I feel the blue walls in my room when me and my dad knock three for i love you and two for good night.I also feel the black door to go into my house where i feel calm loved and exited. Or the roof that protects me and my family.These are all the feels i feel in my home. Making memories in my home with the people I love, golfing in the garage with my dad and I got 86 yards and he marked it on the wall.All of us fitting on my comfy couch.When I go downstairs and a movie is always playing,and i hear the sound of popcorn popping.I also remember baking with my mom we would always make pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. When me and my mom snuggle up and turn the fireplace on during winter.Those were some of my favorite memories Being with my family makes me feel safe.When im home alone with my brother I feel safe,when me and my family are having a movie night I feel safe.When im with my mom we stay up and watch scary movies and eat candy and chips till our stomachs hurt.On the hot summer days when we would all jump into the pool including my dog and he would make the biggest splash ever.Me and my mom love watching movies so every sunday we watch a movie.I used to move a lot so it doesn't where you put me as long as i'm with my family its home. A home is somewhere I make memories,and spend time with loved ones and a place where I can be. My home is where I'm calm and safe.I have made so many memories in my home that I will never forget.Anywhere I am as long as I'm with my family I'm happy!I hope that others can have a safe environment so they can be them.
