Home is Where the Heart Is

I don't think anyone truly spends time reflecting on what home means to them and we often take it for granted. Home is a place where you can relax, have fun and especially spend time with your family. Home can also be much more than that. Home is a place of comfort, a place where you can connect with other people, whether it be with family or friends. Home is a place that you can miss when you're away and a place to help you focus when you're feeling stressed. One of the most wonderful parts of a home are the memories created in it. For me, the memories hold a great place in my mind and heart. Every room in my house holds a special memory since I’ve been growing up. One of my favorite memories is when me and my family are having fun by the pool and snuggling to watch movies together. I am also taken to my happy place when I walk into my home with the comforting smell of a home cooked meal, which is very special and a great privilege. So never forget to be kind to your home, clean it and don’t break anything in it. Even if your home might have problems when it gets old, never forget that it’s still your home and that you should always take care of it and love it because it takes care of you and it’s good for your soul.
