What is Home?

Home means something different to everybody. It can be a place where you feel safe, comforted, and loved. It can just be a place where you take shelter, or it can be both! You can call it your home or your house. Whatever it is, everyone needs a home. Not only does home keep you safe, it lets you be you. Home is a place where you can do what you want. Home can be a place of love, laughter, family, memories, or even sleep. Whenever I come home from anywhere, I feel safe. Not only inside the house, also in my backyard. The walls and fences in my house make the house feel cozy. There are people here and around the world that do not have a home or it is not safe. Everyone needs a home and not just a house. Thanks to Habitat for Humanity, they are helping to achieve that goal.
