The Meaning Of Home

Home isn’t just a structure that we live in, it’s the memories we hold in this structure like me seeing my siblings for the first time, the way we connect with each other, the smiles, my older sister moving in with us, the arguments, the makeups, and the fits we can never forget those. Home is the place where I feel safe. Nothing can ever replace my home. Home isn't just the place for space, it's the way we thrive. My home is important because it's the place I've grown up in, home makes me feel like I have place in a different world that’s filled with acceptance, love, and peace, well most of the time... Home reminds me of the smell of my mom's cooking filling the air, and it tastes even better then it smells, trust me... it does. When I come home from school the first thing I see are my dogs Maisie, Skye, and Rocco. I hear my dogs barking as I walk through my door. Home is where I can tell my mom anything. Even when I have hard times with my family, we all love each other. That Is what home means to me. Thank you home for humanity for giving children our age to write what we think home is not for us but for the people who need a home. I really appreciate what you are doing for people in our communities.
