Home Around the World

A home is not just a house it can be a church, a place, and even a person so where is your home. My home is a church. Well what is a church? A church is where you can feel peace and calmness. A church could even be in your bedroom it can be anywhere. My home is a church in Lesvos, Greece. In a village called Mandomados lays St Michaels church. On the outside, it seems like a castle it is huge. When you go inside you smell the holy communion being made in the altar. You see in the distance it is St Michael's spot, his face is made in mud and blood from his friends that the Turks killed, and the last monk formed the face of St Michael and it has been there since 1462. To me that place is the most peaceful place in the whole world. The only thing you hear is the hymns from the choir which is why it is so peaceful. So, there you go a home can be anywhere around the world.
