What Home is

Home is not just a place with walls and a roof and furniture. It’s a place where your family smiles when you walk in. A place where you make your best memories. A place where there’s dinner ready on the table when you walk in. A place where you can smell sweet cinnamon coming from the pie in the oven. A place that you celebrate Christmas, Halloween, Easter and the New Year with your family. A place where you bake fresh cookies with your mom and play games with your brothers and sisters. Sometimes you get sad and angry but you always get over it with your family. A place that’s calm so you can think. And that is what I think home is. Even if your stuff was gone, what really makes a home is your family.
