~Home~

When I wake up in the morning I make my bed and I start to say what Im thankful for. I always say first, “I'm thankful for the roof that's over my head and the sun that brightens my day’’,and at the end I say ‘‘today is going to be a great day”. But if I never had that roof over my head then I could never say that. At my grandma's house by the door she has a sign that says there's nowhere better than home because at home I just feel safe, warm and cozy. These last couple days, I've had been making a blanket with my grandma and I am about 3/4 done and when I put it on I feel so loved and grateful that I am so lucky to have the ability to get the material. The other day my mom said in the summer when Im 12 that I Have to go live in Portugal with my aunt but for sume reason I already feel homesick before I even leaving ,so in my mind home has that effect that makes you miss home. Sometimes Im happy to leave and have a getaway but also im happy to be back home. .I have a little sister and anytime she sees a homeless person she breaks out in tears. Once my mom said, Okay, where you want to go? We can go get something for homeless person and she went to Shoppers Drug Mart and got them a chocolate milk and a unicorn eye mask that was so cute. At my house we do not have a good trampoline but it does have a sturdy rouf and a place for my stuff. I hope me being here today will help the Habitat for Humanity make a new home for someone in need.
