What Home Means To Me

Home means the safety and comfort of my own home. Sometimes when you’re at school, you can’t always be yourself. There are times when you might feel judged by your peers even if it’s not really happening. Kids can be self-conscious being in middle school. When you’re at home, you have safety, freedom, comfort, and LOVE to be yourself with no judgements or worries. You know when you get that sick feeling in your stomach, and you feel like you’re going to throw up? That happens to me all the time, but when I get back home, when I smell that “home smell”, I feel right at home! Home is my own secret layer; it is my safe space!
