Meaning of Home

Do you have a home? Do you know what a home is? Well, you are about to find out what a home is. I know what you are about to say: What is a home? A home is not just a house, even though it is a building. It is also not just a place where you sleep, eat, read, and watch television. A home is much more than that, a home is a special place or special building. A home is a place where you make memories either happy or sad. These memories are incredibly special and important for you to remember when you are moving. You need to bring these memories with you to know where you are from. A home is a place where you feel safe, welcomed, happy, energized, loved, accepted and comfortable. When you get home from work or school, there is often a special or unique scent in your home like when your mum just finishes cooking. A home is a place where you celebrate birthdays, traditions, and anniversaries. Did you know that you need a home to hold celebrations? A home to me is a place where I was raised, where I played, cried, broke my first tooth, and made memories. It is a place where I became the person, I am today, and it is important that you notice the environment around you. In conclusion. not everyone has a home. I am writing this because I want to raise money so that Habitat for Humanity can use the money to build a house and that would be lovely.
