Home is Home

“What does home mean?” Home is a safe and loving place. For me, home is a place where you do not have to worry about anything. You might ask, “what do you have to worry about?” Well, I have Dyslexia - "what's that?” It is a reading and writing disorder. “What does that have to do with home?” It means home is my safe place, where I do not have to worry or be nervous. When I am out of home, I cannot control anything. Like if someone asks me, "can you please read this to me?” or when I must read a sign. The worst part is when the teacher says, “Hannah, read this paragraph please.” Home is a safe, loving, comfortable, and understanding place. If the world would be a storm, home would be my rainbow away from all the thunder and lightning. Home is home, wherever you are, home will always be waiting.
